The 2025 elections in India includes the election to the office of the vice president of India, Rajya Sabha and 1 state and 1 union territory Legislative assemblies.[1][2][3][4][5]
Vice presidential election[edit]
The vice presidential election was held on 9 September 2025 following the early resignation of Jagdeep Dhankhar. The votes were counted on the same day and C. P. Radhakrishnan was elected as the next Vice president of India.[6]
