Thirudesamalai (Tamil: திருத்தியமலை), or Thiruthiyamalai, is a village in Tiruchirappalli District, Tamil Nadu, India. This village is located 15 km from Musiri, 10 km from Thiruvellarai and 10 km from Peramangalam, Tamil Nadu, India. The village is the site of a 5,000-year-old Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, named "Arulmigu Aega Pushpa Priya Nathar" [1] and "Thayinum nallal Thirukovil". The village is 300km from Chennai (formerly known as Madras and often called the "cultural capital" of India).
