Sattur is an assembly constituency located in Virudhunagar district in Tamil Nadu.[1] It falls under Virudhunagar Lok Sabha constituency. The constituency served as the Chief Minister's constituency in the years 1957 and 1962 respectively, as it was won by then Chief Minister K. Kamaraj. It is one of the 234 State Legislative Assembly Constituencies in Tamil Nadu, in India.

In the 2021 election, the DMK party's allainace party MDMK's candidate won the election against the candidate of AIADMK. In the 2026 elections, nainar nagendran who is the state leader of BJP lead the vote countings for a few rounds, and was ultimately defeated by KADARKARAIRAJ. A who emerged as the new MLA of Sattur by a decisive margin of 5989 votes standing at a total of 62060 votes.
