Mayiladuthurai is a legislative assembly constituency in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.[1] Elections and winners from this constituency are listed below. Most successful parties: DMK and INC (five times). It is one of the 234 State Legislative Assembly Constituencies in Tamil Nadu, in India.

N. Kittappa of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam served as member for Mayiladuthurai Assembly constituency for four consecutive terms from 1967 to 1984.[2][3][4][5] The Indian National Congress has won the seat five times (1957,[6] 1962,[7] 1991,[8] 2006[9], 2021), the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, five times (1967,[2] 1971,[3] 1977,[4] 1980,[5] 1989); the Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam twice,[10] Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar),[11] Bharatiya Janata Party,[12]and the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam, once each.
