The 12629 / 12630 Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express is a Sampark Kranti Express train belonging to South Western Railway Zone that runs between Yesvantpur Junction and Hazrat Nizamuddin in India. It is currently being operated with 12629/12630 train numbers on a biweekly basis. Recently, there has been a demand from western Maharashtra and north Karnataka to stop at Sangli, the largest turmeric market of Asia. Halt at Sangli will help the business community of the country to reach Sangli directly.[1][2][3][4]

Both trains are hauled by a Krishnarajapuram based WDP 4D diesel locomotive from Bengaluru to Pune. From Pune, train is hauled by a Ghaziabad based WAP 7 electric locomotive from Hazrat Nizamuddin and vice versa.
