Jagdishpur comprises community development block Jagdishpur; Gram Panchayats Ayar, Tar, Dhwarahi Jangal Mahal, Akrua, Kothua, Jamuaon, Jitaura Jangalmahal, Brawn, Tilath, Khannikala, Rajeyan, Amehta, Ktriyan, Lahthan, Agiaon & Nayka Tola Jangalmahal of Piro community development block .[2]
