Vidavaluru is a village and a mandal headquarters in Nellore district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in india.[1] It is located in Kovur.
History[edit]
Nellore district formed part of the composite Madras State till 1 October 1953. On 1 November 1956 when the states were reorganized on a linguistic basis, this district came under the Andhra Pradesh State.[2]
In 1970 Prakasam district was formed from parts of Guntur, Kurnool, and Nellore districts.[3]
Tirupati District formed from a part of old Chittoor district and a part from old Nellore district on 4 April 2022.[4]
The name of Nellore district has been changed as Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore District on 4 June 2008.[2]

Vidavaluru is a village panchayat located in the Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. Its latitude is 14.5721409 and its longitude is 80.0661975.
Politics[edit]
Vidavalur is represented by Kovur for the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Nallapareddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy is the current MLA of Kovur (Assembly constituency) representing the YSR Congress Party.[when?]
