Kolar Gold Fields Assembly constituency is one of the constituencies in Karnataka Legislative Assembly in India. It is a segment of Kolar Lok Sabha constituency.

This constituency has been reserved for Scheduled Castes since its establishment. It was represented by two members until the 1957 Mysore State Legislative Assembly election. Due to the prevalence of Tamil labourers in the gold fields, mainly Dalits, the constituency was represented by Tamils (and sometimes Tamil Nadu regional parties) until 2008, when the delimitation made Tamils a less decisive factor.[2]
