It is part of Bellary Lok Sabha seat.This constituency is reserved for Scheduled Tribe after delimitation in 2008.This constituency is a strong hold of B Sriramulu.This constituency consists of 11 Wards of Bellary City.The areas Cowl Bazar ,TB Sanatorium and Contonment belong to this constituency.This constituency has both Urban and Rural votes.
