the Voletivaripalem is a village in the Nellore district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the mandal headquarters of Voletivaripalem mandal in Kandukur revenue division.[1][2]

History

Nellore district formed part of the composite Madras State till 1st October, 1953. On 1st November 1956 when the states were reorganized on a linguistic basis, this district came under the Andhra Pradesh State.[3]

In 1970 Prakasam district was formed from parts of Guntur, Kurnool, and Nellore districts.[4]

Tirupati District formed from a part of old Chittoor district and a part from old Nellore district on 4th April, 2022.[5]

The name of Nellore district has been changed as Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore District on 4th June, 2008. [3]

Demographics

Total population of Voletivaripalem is 3622. Males are 1,805 and females are 1,817.[1]

Politics

Voletivaripalem falls under Kandukur assembly constituency and Nellore lok sabha constituency.
