From Amritsar trains are hauled by a Ludhiana Loco Shed-based WDM-3A diesel locomotive uptil Pathankot. From Pathankot trains are hauled by a Ghaziabad Loco Shed-ased WAP-5 electric locomotive uptil Jammu,and vice versa.
