The 22947 / 22948 Surat–Bhagalpur Express is a Superfast train running between Surat of Gujarat and Bhagalpur Junction of Bihar. It is also known as Tapti Ganga Superfast Express.[1][2]

It operates as train number 22947 from Surat to Bhagalpur Junction and as train number 22948 in the reverse direction, serving the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar

DD Upadhyaya Junction (Mughalsarai), Ara Junction, Patna Junction, Kiul Junction, Jamalpur Junction to Bhagalpur Junction.

Traction[edit]

Both trains are hauled by Bhusawal-based WAP-4E throughout the entire journey.
