Movva mandal is one of the 25 mandals in the Krishna district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.[1] The headquarters of Movva mandal is at Movva. Movva Mandal is the birth place of Siddendra Yogi, hailed from Kuchipudi, founder of Kuchipudi Dance.[2]

NTR district was carved out of Krishna district in 2022.[3]
