It is a part of Chikballapur Lok Sabha constituency.The results are out for the recent Assembly election 2023 and Indian National Congress's Pradeep Eshwar wins Chikkaballapur. He defeated Bharatiya Janata Party's Dr K Sudhakar by huge margin.
