[3]Ajay Kumar Mishra is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament in the 17th Lok Sabha.[1][2].He is the Minister of State in Ministry of Home affairs, Government of India. He represents the Kheri constituency of Uttar Pradesh and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party political party.[4][5][6]
Early life and education[edit]
Mishra was born in Banveer Pur village in Lakhimpur Kheri district. He attended the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University and attained Bachelor of Science & Bachelor of Laws degrees.[2][1]
Political career[edit]
Mishra has been an MP for one term. He represented the Kheri constituency and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party political party. In September 2014, he was appointed as a Member of the Standing Committee on Rural Development. In 2012, Mishra was elected as MLA in the 16th Legislative Assembly from Nighasan.[1][6][2]
In July 2021, he became Minister of State in the Ministry Of Home Affairs in the Second Modi ministry after the Cabinet reshuffle.[7]
