Nallajerla is a village in East Godavari district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.[1]
History[edit]
Rajahmundry district was formed in 1823 and in 1859 bifurcated into Godavari District and Krishna district. In 1925, Godavari district was split into East Godavari district and West Godavari district.[2][3]
The reorganisation of the districts in 2022 increased the number of districts in Andhra Pradesh from 13 to 26.[4]
Demographics[edit]
As of 2011[update] Census of India, Nallajerla had a population of 13457. The total population constitute, 6712 males and 6745 females with a sex ratio of 1005 females per 1000 males. 1371 children are in the age group of 0–6 years, with sex ratio of 953. The average literacy rate stands at 73.99%.[5]
