Koligudda is a village in Belgaum district in Karnataka, India.[1] It is located 120 KM towards north-east from Belgaum. It is 6KM away from Harugeri on the Athani road. Kannada is the primary language, and the Hindu religion is the majority in number. "Koligudda Mata" is the main attraction of the village. Some other places worth visiting in the village are Kalika Devi temple and Hanuman temple. Agriculture is the main source of income for most people. Sugarcane is the main crop because of the enormous scope of its sugarcane cultivation and production facilities. River Krishna is the main source of water supply for agricultural needs. Koligudd village gets three times GANDHI GRAMA AWARD in the span of five-year periods of 2015-16, 2016-17, 2018-19.

More than 200 people have government jobs like police, Teachers, linesman, and army in this place. A student from Koligudda has cracked the IIT masters entrance exam and completed his master's degree from IIT Ropar (one of the prestigious institutes of India). Currently, he is involved in research in physics at IIT Delhi.
