Dhadak 2 (transl. Heartbeat 2; ) is a Hindi romantic drama that hit theatres on 01 August 2025. Directed by Shazia Iqbal and backed by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures, the film serves as a spiritual successor to the 2018 movie Dhadak. It is also a remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018), with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri playing the lead roles.
Release[edit]
Originally set for a 22 November 2024 release, the film faced multiple delays—first to 21 February 2025, then to its final date. These postponements were due to clearance issues with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) before finally making it to the big screen.
