Halaharvi is a village in the Halaharvi mandal in the Kurnool district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.
History[edit]
In 1953, 11 Telugu speaking districts of Madras State became Andhra State with Kurnool as its capital. In 1956, Andhra State and Telangana merged together to form Andhra Pradesh. As per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, 10 districts were carved out of Andhra Pradesh to form Telangana.[1]
In 2022, the larger Kurnool district was split into Kurnool and Nandyal districts.[2]
