Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a private university located in Chaheru, Phagwara, Punjab, India.[4] The university was established in 2005 by Lovely International Trust, through the Lovely Professional University Act, 2005 (Punjab Act 25 of 2005)[5] and started operation in 2006.[6]

Lovely Professional University (LPU) ranks among the Top 50 Universities in India by NIRF, Govt. of India Ranking. LPU Punjab offers programs for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Research Scholars, Ph.D. and working professionals via Regular, Distance, Online and welcomes international students.
