Baba Hira Singh Bhattal Institute of Engineering and Technology (BHSBIET) is a college in Punjab. It was established in 2005.

History[edit]

To promote technical education in this area, the Government of Punjab, India has taken many steps. Government Polytechnic at Lehragaga is already running in the campus of the Institute since 1996. The institute is renamed after freedom fighter of "Parja Mandal movement" Baba Hira Singh Ji Bhattal Late father of Ex Deputy Chief Ministers of Punjab (India) Sardarni Rajinder Kaur Bhattal. Founder Principal of this College Harinder Pal Singh the then Additional Director of Technical Education Punjab was assigned this task and he established the college in a record time of 6 Months and made admissions in the same year after completing the infrastructure.
