Baisnabnagar (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is an assembly constituency in Malda district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Kaliachak (Vidhan Sabha constituency) ceases to exist from 2011. There are two new constituencies in the area – Mothabari (Vidhan Sabha constituency) and Baisnabnagar (Vidhan Sabha constituency). BJP won the 2016 assembly elections in Baisnabnagar.[4] In 2021 West Bengal Legislative Assembly election Chandana Sarkar of AITC won the seat by a margin of 2,799 votes over her nearest rival Swadhin Kumar Sarkar of BJP. She is the current MLA of Baisnabnagar constituency.
