Surbhi Chandna (born 11 September 1989) is an Indian television actress.[1] She is known for her portrayal of Annika Oberoi in Star Plus's Ishqbaaaz, Dr.Ishani in Sanjivani and Bani Singhania in Colors TV's Naagin 5.[2]

Chandna was born on 11 September 1989 in Bombay, Maharashtra.[1]
Career[edit]
2009–2015: Early career[edit]
Chandna debuted on television in 2009 with a cameo in the most longest-running sitcom ever, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah that airs on Sony SAB. After a break of four years, she essayed Suzanne in Star Plus's Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi… Meri Bhabhi.[3]
From 2014 to 2015, she portrayed the deaf and mute Haya in Zee TV's romantic drama Qubool Hai.[4] In 2015, she had a small part as Aamna Khan in her first Bollywood venture, the Vidya Balan starrer Bobby Jasoos.[5]
2016–present: Breakthrough[edit]
From 2016 to 2018, Chandna played Annika Oberoi in Star Plus's Ishqbaaaz.[6] For her performance, she won several awards including the Indian Television Academy Award, Asian Viewers Television Award, Gold Award and Lions Gold Award. In 2017, she also appeared in the spin-off of Ishqbaaaz titled Dil Boley Oberoi.[7]
From 2019 to 2020, Chandna portrayed Dr.Ishani Arora in Star Plus's Sanjivani.[8][9] From 2020 to 2021, she portrayed Bani Singhania in Colors TV's Naagin opposite Sharad Malhotra where she played the role of Aadi Naagin.
Her debut appearance in a music video was with Sharad Malhotra with Vyrl Originals in 2021.[10]

In 2018, she was ranked 16th in Eastern Eye's Sexiest Asian Women List and 8th in Biz Asia's TV Personality List.[12]
In 2019, she was ranked 5th in Eastern Eye's Sexiest Asian Women List and ranked 1st in Biz Asia's TV Personality List. [1]
In 2020, she was ranked 1st in Biz Asia's TV Personality List [2] and ranked 9th in the list of Top 50 Asian Celebrities in the World by Eastern Eye. [3]
Chandna was ranked at No. 4 in The Times Most Desirable Women on TV 2020. [13]
