Dr. Sandesh Lamsal (in Nepali: डा. सन्देश लम्साल), born on 17th August, 1994, in Dang district of Nepal, is a Nepalese internet celebrity, doctor, sportsman, social media influencer, model and social worker known for his creative videos on different social media platforms and achievements on his social, professional & public life. According to different sources, He is the First Nepalese Internet Celebrity to be verified in all social media platforms including Google, Yahoo, Bing, Amazon, YouTube, Telegram, TikTok, Likee, Moj, Josh, Chingari, Tiki, Hoote and Vero app in 2022.[1] [2][3][4][5]
Early Life and Biography[edit]
Lamsal was born on 17 August 1994, in a Brahmin family in Dang district of Nepal as the first child of Ganesh Lamsal and Sushila Lamsal.[6][7][8] In 2016, He was appointed as the Representative of Nepal in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region after the opening of The office of the Honorary Consul of Nepal St. Petersburg, Russia under Alexander Trentev's leadership, where he created a group of students and started to contribute for the promotion of Nepal, Nepali culture, tradiation, language and festivals.[9][10][11][12] Besides social works, he has created many videos in different social media platforms advocating social awareness, fitness and mental health.[13][14][15] According to Yahoo News and Online Khabar, He is the first Nepalese celebrity to be verified in all social media platforms including TikTok, Likee, Moj, Josh, YouTube, Telegram, Google’s Tangi and Chingari app.[16][17] Along with an internet celebrity, he is the holder of Two Dan Black belt in World Taekwondo and also has participated in many competitions in Nepal and Russia.[18][19] He has significantly contributed to the promotion of Nepal's tourism under the office of Nepal's honorary consul in Russia.[20] He is considered as the one and only Nepalese who has contributed on United Nations as an Online Volunteer as well as on FIFA Confederation Cup 2017 and FIFA World Cup 2018 as a Medical Volunteer.[21] He was also the organizer and lecturer of the "Nepal Fest" event held in St. Petersburg, Russia to help the victims of the 2015 earthquake.[22] The contributions of Lamsal in the field of the promotion of Nepal, Nepali culture, tradition and tourism has been praised by the former speaker of the Parliament of Nepal – Onsari Gharti Magar, Former Finance Minister of Nepal – Ram Saran Mahat, The Ambassador of Nepal to Russia – Rishi Ram Ghimire and as a whole, Nepal and the Russian Government.[23]
