Sakrand[A 1] represents a town situated within the Sindh province of Pakistan. The town functions as a taluka within Shaheed Benazirabad District, which was formerly known as Nawabshah, and is located approximately 18 kilometres from the city of Nawabshah. By road, Sakrand is situated roughly 300 kilometres from Karachi via National Highway. The town is recognised for its substantial agricultural production.

Sakrand Sugar Mill Ltd. has a crushing capacity of 6,500 metric tons of sugarcane per day. The sugar mill not only fulfills domestic demand but it also has the capacity to export to other towns of the province.[2]
