Global Indian International School, Hyderabad Campus or GIIS Hyderabad is an international school located at Uppal in Hyderabad.[1] It is a part of the GIIS network which has branches in Singapore, UAE, Japan, etc. It follows the national level board of education that is the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) and Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. Its campus is spread over 6 acres of land. The school was opened in July 2009. The school has classes from nursery to twelfth. It is managed by Arca Education Society.[2]
Facilities[edit]
The school can accommodate 35,000 students. The campus comprises academic wing, audio-video presentation rooms, library, science laboratories, playground, and sports center. The school develops skills among students using the Malcolm Baldrige Educational Excellence Model). Out of the 6 acres campus area, 4 acres include lawn tennis, table tennis, football, cricket, 200 meters Athletics track, NCC training, Volleyball, Basketball, skating rink, swimming pool etc. The GIIS Uppal campus has a library. Its library has over 10,000 titles. Its cafeteria serves Indian vegetarian food. It has two big dining halls.[3]
