Camellia Institute of Technology & Management , commonly known as CITM, is a technical base college located in Boinchi in the Indian state of West Bengal .
The institute is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formally known as WBUT). It is recognised and aided by the Government of West Bengal and its courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Mechanical Engineering The 11 acre campus loacted at G.T. Road, Bainchi, Hooghly, PIN-712134, promises excellence in engineering & Technical Education. CITM equipped with state of art infrastructure & facilities.CITM is conveniently located in Bainchi , Hooghly beside the G. T. Road and it is not far from Kolkata Airport. The Howrah- Burdwan railway main line is just 1 K.M. apart from the institute. The Durgapur Express way is also just 10 KM away from the institute.
There is a hostel inside of the college campus for students.
Admission [ edit ] Admission to the B.Tech courses is on the basis of the position secured by the candidate in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination And Joint Entrance Examination – Main .
In all courses, 90% of students of approved intake capacity are admitted on the basis of merit position secured by the candidate in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. The 10% balance of students are admitted from Joint Entrance Examination – Main as per the norms stipulated by the UGC and the West Bengal .Diploma holders in any engineering and technical discipline can enter for a degree course in the second year at CITM, through the admission test JELET conducted by Central Selection Committee (CSC).
Among these, some (1 or 2) seats are also available for Reserved Category , Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) and PwD candidates.[1] [2]
Training and placement [ edit ] The training and placement cell arranges vacational training and placement for students at organizations like L&T ,Simplex ,Genpact , ORACLE ,ERICSSON ,BHUSAN ,(HUL) , BSNL , DRDO , (WBPDCL) , (WBSEDCL) , Eastern Railways (India) , NTPC , DVC , Bridge & Roof , KMDA , Shapoorji Pallonji Group , TANTIA CONSTRUCTIONS Limied , TCS ,CAPGEMINI ,Jaiprakash Associates Limited , West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company , Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology , West Bengal State Council of School Education ,IBM , WIPRO , Airtel .
