Amarapuram is a village in the Amarapuram mandal of the Sri Sathya Sai district, Andhra Pradesh.
History[edit]
Sri Satya Sai district, with headquarters at Puttaparthi, was created as per the Gazette notification No.154 dt 01.02.2022, with parts of Ananthapuramu district.[1] It is named after Sathya Sai Baba, an Indian guru born in Puttaparthy.[2][3]

Amarapuram is located at 14°08′00″N 76°59′00″E / 14.1333°N 76.9833°E.[4] It has an average elevation of 603 metres (1981 ft).

According to Indian census, 2001, the demographic details of Amarapuram mandal is as follows:[5]
