Electric Loco Shed, Gomoh is a motive power depot performing locomotive maintenance and repair facility for electric locomotives of the Indian Railways, located at Gomoh of the East Central Railway zone in Jharkhand, India. It is one of the three electric loco sheds in the ECR the others being at Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Nagar (DDU) and Barauni (BJU).
History
Operations
The depot had 148 units of all classes at the end of May 2010. This has increased to over 300 by April 2020.[1] In 2019, Gomoh was said to be the largest electric locomotive depot in India.[2]
