He began his acting career from Star Plus teen drama ''[[Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr]]'', and later appeared in television reality show ''[[Bigg Boss (Hindi TV series)|Bigg Boss]] (Hindi Season 1)''. He has also played the role of Kshitij, a lawyer, in Shobna Desai's soap opera ''Durgesh Nandinii'' that aired on [[Sony Entertainment Television]]. Amit Sadh has played key supporting roles in several movies. He worked in ''[[Kai Po Che!]]'' (2013) playing the role of a priest's son alongside [[Amrita Puri]], [[Rajkummar Rao]] and [[Sushant Singh Rajput]]. In ''[[Sultan (2016 film)|Sultan]]'' he played the role of a businessman alongside [[Salman Khan]] and [[Anushka Sharma]]. He  appeared in ''[[Gold (2018 film)|Gold]]'' as Raghubir Pratap Singh (based on real life character on [[K. D. Singh Babu]]) alongside [[Akshay Kumar]] and the role of Shakuntala Devi's son-in-law in the eponymous film of that name.
