Parag appeared in the serial Pavitra Rishta as Archana's brother Vinod. He later went on to appear in the show Jodha Akbar (TV series) as Mirza Shariffudin. In 2012, along with his then girlfriend Shefali, he entered the reality show Nach Baliye 5. In 2015 he later reappeared in the seventh season of this show with his wife Shefali. In 2016 he appeared as Brahmarakshas and now he is starring as lead villain in a Pawan Kalyan film named as Agnyaathavaasi. He currently resides in Mumbai, India.
