Untavad is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) from sub district headquarter and 35 kilometres (22 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 444 houses and a population of 1931 of which 990 are males while 941 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 235 people are from Schedule Caste and 1041 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
