Shahade is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) from sub district headquarter and 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 460 houses and a population of 2286 of which 1127 are males while 1159 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 112 people are from Schedule Caste and 1406 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
