Tikhore is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from sub district headquarter and 46 kilometres (29 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 413 houses and a population of 2166 of which 1072 are males while 1094 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 5 people are from Schedule Caste and 1254 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
