Tiger Nageswara Rao is an upcoming Telugu-language action thriller film written and directed by Vamsee and produced by Abhishek Agarwal. The film stars Ravi Teja in titular role alongside Anupam Kher, Renu Desai, Nupur Sanon, Jisshu Sengupta, Gayatri Bhardwaj and Mandava Sai Kumar.[1][2]

Premise[edit]

"In the shadowy alleys of Stuartpuram, Andhra Pradesh, during the 1970s, a legendary figure emerges: Tiger Nageswara Rao, a cunning robber with a heart of audacious ambition. As he masterminds a series of daring heists, his ingenious methods of outwitting the law become the stuff of local legend. With the police hot on his trail and the prison walls seemingly unable to contain him, Tiger's thrilling escapades turn into a captivating game of cat and mouse.

Filming[edit]

Principal photography of the film began on 2022 at a place of five acres near Shamshabad of Telangana[3] and filming started in Hyderabad.[4] During the shooting of the film, Ravi Teja was injured in an action scene.[5][6] After injury Teja resumed the filming.[7][8] Nupur Sanon[9] and Anupam Kher joined the filming in 2022.[10][11] The film team wrapped off on July 2023.[12]

Teaser[edit]

The teaser of the film was released on 17 August 2023.[13][14][15]

Release[edit]

The film is shedulued to be released in theatres on October 20, 2023.[16][17]
