Singanamala is a village in Anantapur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the mandal headquarters of Singanamala mandal in Anantapuramu revenue division.[1][2]

History[edit]

Anantapur district was carved out of Bellary district in 1882.[3]

Singanamala is located at 14°48′00″N 77°43′00″E / 14.8000°N 77.7167°E / 14.8000; 77.7167.[4] It has an average elevation of 287 metres (944 ft).
