Shobhit Institute of Engineering & Technology, also known as Shobhit University, is a private university located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] It is a Deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and accredited by National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC).[3]

The University is located on the Delhi-Meerut-Dehradun National Highway (NH-58).
Research activities[edit]
The university undertook teaching and research as essential ingredients of its activities with emphasis on research productivity, innovations in teaching and progress in emerging areas through its Post-Graduate and Doctoral programs.[4]
