ReLiva Physiotherapy and Rehab is an Indian physical therapy company[2] that was founded in 2014 by Subodh Gupta and Vaishali Gupta.[3][4] It is headquartered in Mumbai.[5][6] It is owned and operated by Brand New Day Ventures Private Limited.

Reliva Physiotherapy and Rehab was founded by Subodh Gupta and Vaishali Gupta in Mumbai. Subodh previously served as the director of Investec for the Investment banking sector in Mumbai.[7][8] He holds a bachelor's degree from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Lucknow.[9] Vaishali completed her PGPC from MICA and had a career in media and marketing communications.[10] Together, they established the company with a shared vision of making the treatment more accessible to the general population in 2014. It has an ISO 9001:2008 certification.[11]

They offer services for the treatment of orthopedic cases like back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain,[12] sports injury [13][14] recovery after heart surgery with Cardiac rehab, Neuro physiotherapy after stroke,[15] Bell's palsy and other neurological conditions and pulmonary rehabilitation for lung disease patients.[16][2] Reliva uses exercise as medicine and educates the person about their physical condition during the treatment and prepares them for injury prevention in the future.[17][18] They provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment at the clinics along with physiotherapy at home as well as online physiotherapy.[2][19]

The company also uses modern technology for rehabilitation services. Among these are robotic rehabilitation tools like the Robotic Hand Glove, which utilizes air pressure to aid hand and finger movement recovery for reducing muscle spasms.[17][20][21] They use Robotic Rehab using Virtual Reality (VR), for physical therapy through engaging experience. These have specialized robotic game-based mobility trainers that help regain mobility in both limbs including hands, arms, shoulder, knee, ankle, foot and legs using interactive games and simulating activities of daily living. The organisation also uses Gait Lab for rehabilitation programs for correcting posture, muscular imbalance in movement and improve sports performance.[22][21]

FabMoms[edit]

It has a division called FabMoms where it caters the healthcare needs of women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.[37][38] It was established to provide comprehensive physiotherapy and wellness services that address the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of women's health, particularly with problems like back pain and pelvic floor health during the journey of motherhood.[39][40]

RespiRehab[edit]

It has another division called RespiRehab that focuses on improving lung and respiratory function. They begin with an assessment of the patient's symptoms and breathing difficulties, allowing the respiratory physiotherapist to create a personalized treatment plan for them.[41] some of the diseases they treat are COPD, ILD, and Lung Fibrosis. They also provide cardio-respiratory physiotherapy after COVID-19 recovery.[42][41][43]
