Rahul Bhandari (born; 13 September 1973) [1]is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS)[2] officer and current Principal Resident Commissioner Punjab.[3][4] He is an 1997 batch IAS. He is husband of IAS Rakhee Gupta.[5][6]
Early life and education[edit]
Rahul Bhandari was born on 13 September 1973 in Amritsar district of the Indian state of Punjab. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Electrical Communications from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh in 1994. Apart from this, he has also studied M.A (Economics) and M.Phil.[7]
In 1997 he placed third rank All India in the Civil Services Exam.[8]
