Pusanad is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from sub district headquarter and 44 kilometres (27 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 497 houses and a population of 2574 of which 1270 are males while 1304 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 426 people are from Schedule Caste and 1193 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
