Pimpri Akaraut

Pimpri Akaraut or Pimpri [lower-alpha 1] is a village in the Muktainagar taluka of Jalgaon district, Maharashtra, India. It is located in the North Maharashtra region.[1]

GeographyEdit

The village is located in the eastern part of Jalgaon district near Muktainagar. 2.4 miles to the north is the Purna river which flows in a westerly direction. Ghodasgaon and Hartala are situated at the east and west of the village respectively. Pimpri's total population in 2011 was 1,963 and it had 458 households. Its area is 496 hectares.[1]

Education facilitiesEdit

Pimpri has three pre-primary schools, a primary school and a middle school, but it does not have a secondary school or college;[1] students from the area enrol in those in Muktainagar.
