Nirosha is an Indian film and television actress. She is known for her works predominantly in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films.

Her first unaccredited appearance was in the Telugu Gharshana.[1] After her debut in Tamil in the film Agni Natchathiram (1988, directed by Mani Ratnam), Nirosha went on to appear in many successful and critically acclaimed films. She was one of the leading actress from 1988 to 1996. After her marriage to actor Ramki in 1995, she quit acting. After a hiatus, in 2000 she started to work as a supporting actress.

In 2017 she acted in Sudhakar Komakula’s Nuvvu Thopu Raa in Telugu.[1]
