Matkut is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 53 kilometres (33 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 107 houses and a population of 556 of which 263 are males while 293 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 433 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
