Mansarovar is a planned residential neighbourhood in the southwestern part of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Developed by the Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB), it is divided into nine sectors and has frequently been described in regional media as one of the largest planned residential schemes in India.[2]
Geography and connectivity[edit | edit source]
Mansarovar spans an area of approximately 12.28 km2 (4.74 sq mi) and is situated adjacent to the Mansarovar Industrial Area, developed by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO).
The locality is connected by major arterial roads and public transit:
- Metro: The neighbourhood has been served by the Jaipur Metro since 3 June 2015 via Mansarovar metro station, which serves as the western terminal and train maintenance depot for the Pink Line.[3][4]
- Rail: Durgapura railway station is located nearby, providing regional and intercity connectivity.

Mansarovar falls under the civic administration of the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (Greater).
Law enforcement[edit | edit source]
Law enforcement and public safety across the neighbourhood and its surrounding residential extensions are administered by the Jaipur Police Commissionerate under the Mansarovar Circle (South District). The area is served by the following designated police stations:[5]

- Mahila Thana South (specialized women's police station)
- Muhana Police Station
