Madkani is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 53 kilometres (33 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 354 houses and a population of 1779 of which 932 are males while 847 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 80 people are from Schedule Caste and 1553 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
