MY3
MY3 is a 2023 Indian-Tamil language science fiction streaming television series produced by TrendLoud for Disney+ Hotstar. It is an Indian adaptation of the South Korean series I'm Not a Robot.[1][2] [3] Directed by M. Rajesh, the plot follows a girl disguising as a Robot inorder to pay her debts back. The series starrs Hansika Motwani, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj,[4] Mugen Rao[5][6] and Janani. All episodes premiered simultaneously on 15 September 2023.[7]

SynopsisEdit
Adhitya (Mugen Rao) a rich entrepreneur struggling with an allergy to human touch finds a solution in a robot. However, the arrival of a humanoid robot MY3 changes his life forever, but when it crashes before delivery, a 'real' replacement is sent.

The series is produced by TrendLoud Digital India Private Limited. M. Rajesh,[8] of Victim (2022) fame, has directed the series that deals with the Robert. The music for the series was composed by S. Ganesan. The cinematography was handled by Karthik Muthukumar, editing by Praveen Antony, Art Director by Kishore Rajendran, and Producer by Raja Ramamurthy. The directed by M. Rajesh who previously collaborated with Hansika in Oru Kal Oru Kannadi in 2012.
CastingEdit
Actress Hansika Motwani was cast as a double role, one of which will be a robot. This is her debut role in a limited series.[9][10] Bigg Boss Tamil 3 fame Mugen Rao play the rich businessman, who is a rich but lives isolated life due to a severe allergy to physical contact with other human beings. Actor Shanthanu Bhagyaraj play as Mythiri's ex-boyfriend who is a Scientist.[11]
ReleaseEdit
The first poster was released on 23 August 2023 featuring, The poster shows lead actors, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Mugen Rao. While the former is shown wearing a white coat on one side, the other side of the poster shows Hansika Motwani and Mugen sitting on a bench.[12] The first Trailer was released on 12 September 2023 and revealing the release date.[13]
It was announced in August 2023 that the series will be released on 15 September 2023 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi languages on Disney+ Hotstar.[14]
ReceptionEdit
Anusha Sundar of Cinema Express gave 2 star out of 5 and wrote that "MY3 does try hard, but that’s not enough to make this an engaging show."[15]Thinkal Menon of OTTPlay gave 3 star out of 5 star and stated that "he entertaining plot offers a few delightful moments, thanks to the uniqueness of the subject. The performances keep you hooked to an extent, but the screenplay lacks the required punch."[16][17]
