Kurangi is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 22 kilometres (14 mi) from sub district headquarter and 53 kilometres (33 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 332 houses and a population of 1639 of which 814 are males while 825 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 31 people are from Schedule Caste and 1565 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
