Khirwad is a village in Raver in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from sub district headquarter and 80 kilometres (50 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 685 houses and a population of 3148 of which 1675 are males while 1473 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 694 people are from Schedule Caste and 207 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
