Kauthal-t-shahade is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 55 kilometres (34 mi) from sub district headquarter and 55 kilometres (34 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 262 houses and a population of 1355 of which 665 are males while 690 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 108 people are from Schedule Caste and 746 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
