Karjot is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from sub district headquarter and 45 kilometres (28 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 218 houses and a population of 1072 of which 554 are males while 518 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 64 people are from Schedule Caste and 338 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
